Privacy Policy

Canberra IQ’s privacy policy applies to all clients and customers and conforms to Internet privacy standards.

Collection of Information

We don't click-track or gather personal data from any activity on our website or emailed bulletins.

When it comes to searches of our database, we can harvest summary data – such as visitors' countries or search strings - but we have no access to the identity of visitors. This applies to subscribers and trialsters with full access or others with access to content older than 100 days.

Trialsters and subscribers are required to provide a name, email address and phone number.

Email correspondence with trialsters and subscribers may be stored, particularly in regard to sales, support and accounts, in order to provide service references.

Storage of Collected Information

We follow accepted industry standards to protect personal information.

The security of your personal information is important to us. When you enter sensitive information (such as credit card numbers) on our website that information is encrypted using secure socket layer technology (SSL).

Credit card details are passed to our payment services provider, EWay, for payment processing. We do not view or store credit card details.

Access to Collected Information

If your personally identifiable information changes, or if you no longer desire our service, you may correct, update, delete or deactivate it by emailing us at iq@canberraiq.com.au.

Legal

We reserve the right to disclose your personally identifiable information as required by law and when disclosure is necessary to protect our rights and/or comply with a judicial proceeding, court order, or legal process served on our Website.

Links

Links on the Canberra IQ site to external entities are not covered by this policy. The terms and conditions set out in this privacy statement only cover the Canberra IQ domain.

Changes to Privacy Policy

We reserve the right to modify this privacy statement at any time. If we make changes to this policy we will notify you by email or by a notice on our homepage.

Payments security 

Canberra IQ uses Stripe for online credit card transactions. For more information about Stripe please visit https://stripe.com

Our service

Trialsters receive a welcome email in reply within 24 hours of opting in for a trial. This will advise them how to log-in to establish an account and access Canberra IQ’s complete database. On logging in they will be prompted to change their password to one of their own choosing. Canberra IQ has no access to this new password.

Refund & Returns Policy

Subscribers can opt-out of receiving our service within 30 days of purchasing a 12-month subscription and receive a refund of their payment less a $100 service fee.

Subscriptions can be cancelled at any time after 30 days, without refund.

Subscriptions can be transferred to others at any time without charge.
